Hello, everyone, and welcome to a new episode of "New NoiZe." I'm your host, Atlas Castle , and I'm thrilled to have you here with me today on Massive Radio. As always, we're about to embark on a new musical journey through some of my latest album discoveries, taking you from the very beginning to the final note.

In today's episode of New NoiZe, I'm excited to introduce an electronic album by none other than the French producer AWITW, which stands for A Walk In The Woods. Nico Bernard, the creative force behind AWITW, explores various facets of electronic music, drawing inspiration from a diverse range of artistic sources.

His music production is deeply rooted in memories, serving as a tool to construct a universe filled with sensuality, nostalgia, trance, and hypnosis. Consequently, his music extends an invitation to immerse oneself in his dreams or to revisit lost moments of life manifested through the medium of music.

In 2021, Nico founded his own music label, Golden Forest Records, and is also involved in two side projects, Silver Lake and Wait & See, showcasing his prolific nature.

Nico's latest creation, "Solitude, My Love," was released last week through Petite Victory Collective and boasts a rich offering. Nico reflects on the album, stating:

”The release of this album, for me, symbolizes the culmination of embracing a solitary lifestyle. Essentially, I aimed to convey, through warm and nostalgic sounds inspired by artists I admire such as Synkro, Sieren, or Akuratyde, a sense of comfort in a falsely perceived freedom that I had convinced myself existed in a life removed from society. It became apparent to me that I was heading in the wrong direction. I believe, as Adèle Haenel expressed in the French movie 'Portrait De La Jeune Fille En Feu,' that true freedom is not found in solitude. To genuinely feel free, one must open up to people and share with their social environment. This album signifies my journey towards reconnecting with the world, with people, and finding a newfound confidence, akin to forgiveness."

Clearly, this album is a profoundly personal sonic experience that I'm thrilled to share with you today. Let's now dive headfirst into ‘Solitude, My Love’ by AWITW, right here on Massive Radio.

I'll see you all next week for another exciting album selection!
